Lekhnath , a small,quite and beautiful municipality, surrounded by hills and green forest around.lekhnath is a garden of natural beauty and scenaries.it is famous with its another name'THE CITY OF SEVEN LAKES'.The lekhnath name is given from the name of lekhnath poudyal,a great poet, who was born in that place in 1887 A.D.The average area of lekhnath municipality is about45 square kilometer.with average population of 50,000 people.It is in the south west from the capital city of nepal. Lekhnath municipality composed of many small towns and villages. begnastal, kalika,deumadi,sundaridanda,are some of the attractive places and many more.
